The purpose and mission of our group is to share the love of Christ with every international student in Sacramento, the surrounding area, California and the world. We also build Christian international students into Christ-centered laborers and send them to have an impact for Christ on the campus and in the world. This will mean:

  • Taking the initiative to share the love of God so that every international student in Sacramento, the surrounding area, California and the world can hear the Good News in an attractive, meaningful manner. (Share) See Bible verses: Colossians 1:28; Romans 10:13-14
  • Offering places where Christian international students can connect with other Christian students and grow in their faith. (Build) See Bible verses: Ephesians 2:10; 2 Timothy 2:2
  • Equipping Christian international students to walk with God for a lifetime and have an impact for Christ on the campus and the world. (Send) See Bible verses: 1 Corinthians 5:14-15; Revelation 5:9; Romans 12:1-2; Matthew 24:14


    • We will depend on the power of the Holy Spirit and the power of prayer to accomplish our mission.

    Presently in Sacramento area, we have Leadership Training for Christian international students on Friday nights during the school year. In the summer, we have a Bible Study for international students on these evenings. We meet at 6:30 and have dinner, prayer and training. About 15 -20 people come. However, usually the first Friday of the month during the school year is an Pot Luck Party open to everyone and is held in the Fellowship Hall of Arcade Church. About 60-120 people come. In Davis, these Leadership Meetings are on on Monday evenings and Pot Lucks are one Saturday a month. We have Bible Studies led by international student Christians on each campus: Each Bible Study is small: 3 to 10 people. We give out Welcome Gift from our group on each campus to each new international student. These Welcome Gifts include a New Testament and many useful items. When we give them the gift we ask the new international students to give us their e mail address, etc. if they want more information. We then invite them to our Pot Luck parties and Bible Studies. We offer retreats, conferences, and many fun activities for all international students to join.
